Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith joined U2 on stage at Madison Square Garden tonight, just one of the highlights on a second night of celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Quite a show.

The free public tickets to attend the band's short set at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate next Thursday were all snapped up this morning.

U2 will perform in front of Berlin's Brandenburg Gate on November 5th and you can register now for a chance to get a pair of free tickets. As a prelude to the Fall of The Wall celebrations in Berlin, the band return to the city for a free ticketed performance which will be beamed into the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards.
